Diane studied voice over techniques and audio book narration in New York City with leading producers, coaches and directors in the industry including Peter Rofé PDR Voice Coaching; and Pat Fraley and Hillary Huber, with special guest audio book instruction from Paul Ruben and Barbara Rosenblat; and Adria Firestone.

She has completed courses in Acting Techniques and a Voice Intensive at Australia's National Institute for Dramatic Arts (NIDA).

Diane produced programs for Sydney community radio 2SER 107.3FM as part of a regular Tuesday breakfast spot interviewing leading international environmentalists, and in 2006 she was the joint winner for the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia’s short story competition for co-producing and presenting a series of travel programs.
